At MHM we help people achieve good mental and physical wellbeing and live life to the full. We are looking to recruit within our Sefton Talking Therapies service. We are looking to further extend our Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner workforce and are now looking for an enthusiastic PWP to join Sefton Talking Therapies (IAPT).
Individuals will have gained the IAPT Post-Graduate Certificate in Low Intensity Interventions and be registered with the BABCP or BPS. You must be able to demonstrate high standards of verbal and written communication; be able to establish good therapeutic relationships with people and be computer literate. Newly qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
At Sefton Talking Therapies service we offer PWPs high quality supervision and opportunities for continual professional development. PWPs are supported to become proficient in psychological assessment, delivering a range of low-intensity psychological treatments for anxiety disorders and depression - psycho-education, behavioural activation, medication management, problem solving and guided self-help.
A good knowledge and understanding of the Talking Therapies programme for Common Mental Health Disorders, particularly the PWP role within stepped-care, will be essential.
