Sewing Operative in Bristol

Pertemps Bristol is currently recruiting for Sewing Operatives in the Yate area.

• 40 hours a week working Monday-Friday
• Working 08:00-17:00
• £11.94 Per Hour
• All specialist clothing will be provided

As a Sewing Operative your duties will include:

• Use sewing machines to sew or decorate clothing and other products.
• keep machines stocked with thread, position material under needles, and guide their stitching to sew parts together.
• When a product is finished, measure each item to ensure accuracy.

The successful Sewing Operative will hold the following skills and experience:

• Minimum 1 years\’ experience sewing garments on industrial sewing machines.
• Ability to alter garments for different specifications.
• Strong knowledge of hand sewing techniques.
• Ability to read patterns and instruction sheets.
• Experience maintaining industrial sewing machines
