We have an exciting opportunity at the special school in Pontefract that cater for students age range 11 19 years old could be a good fit if you\’re interested in working with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with Severe complex or profound multiple learning difficulties. Full-time or part-time, based on availability
Competitive rates, between £98 £108 per day (AWR Compliant)
Essential Requirements:
At least 6 months UK experience working in a special school or a similar setting
GCSE passes, GNVQ Level 2 or higher in Health and Social Care
Experience supporting students with PMLD, severe complex needs, Autism, sensory impairment, challenging behaviour, medical and physical difficulties.
Manual Handling and/or Team Teach training (advantageous if you have CPD in these areas)
Child and Adult Workforce DBS subscribed to the annual subscription service. Or willing to apply for one.
Additional Information:
May include personal care and feeding for students, as well as manual handling tasks
