Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Trainee Estimator with a mechanical bias, ideally with on-site experience, to transition into an office-based estimating role.
The Role:
As a Trainee Estimator, you will work closely with the estimating team to learn how to prepare accurate cost estimates for mechanical projects. This role is ideal for individuals currently working on-site who wish to transition into an office-based position with career progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing cost estimates for mechanical installations in MEP projects.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and contracts to understand the scope of work.
- Work with senior estimators to gather and analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Support the pre-construction team in pricing tenders and preparing bid submissions.
- Learn to identify potential project risks and cost-saving opportunities.
