A&P Tyne Project Manager
We are dedicated to delivering excellence in our projects from inception to completion so were looking for another experienced Project Manager to join us.
This is a critical role in the Fabrication team in our Tyne Facilitymanaging unique complex heavy fabrication projects. Could it be you?!
So as a Project Manager at A&P Group, what will you do?
- Youll oversee large heavyfabrication projects with timelines than can range from 6/12 month to many yearsfrom the planning stages through to final delivery, ensuring all technical, financial, and stakeholder requirements are met
- Leading projects from inception to timely completion youll manage and coordinate all stakeholders by developing and executing detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation and budget management
- Youll ensure smooth communication and collaboration while monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies
- All will be done ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications providing regular project updates and reports to your senior leadership team and our clients.
What are we looking for?
- Its essential that you have experience as a Project Manager in heavy fabrication / construction where you have performed under pressure
- If youve worked with contractors where you have security clearance and havegained experience of MoD single source contracting and SSRO requirements that would be great
- Strong leadership will be critical to success in this role as well as your team management and vital communication and interpersonal skills critical when working with a large and expanding team
- A strong understanding of commercial aspects of projects so that you can make informed decisions while managing multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting priorities
- An APM or Prince 2 Project Management qualification would be ideal along with proficiency with project management software and tools
