Overview
Creative Support is a thriving and progressive national charity delivering high-quality, person-centred services. We are seeking a warm, motivated individual to join our team in Grimsby, focusing on housing-related mental health support alongside our Service Manager and Community Links and Assessment Co-ordinator.
Responsibilities
- Provide outcome-focused housing-related support to individuals over 18 who need housing-related assistance.
- Help improve mental health, sustain tenancies, maximise independent living skills, enhance engagement with landlords and accommodation providers, improve money management and reduce debt and arrears, enhance home safety, reduce homelessness and the threat of homelessness, better manage substance misuse issues, and enable access to volunteering opportunities both within and outside the service.
- Offer advice and guidance on housing and support options, helping service users access and engage with these services.
- Signpost other services that may meet the service userβs support needs.
Requirements
- A full UK driving license is an essential requirement for this role, due to travelling around the community to provide support to service users in their own households.
