Job Title: JavaScript Developer
Location: Leeds
Salary: £35,000-£45,000 (DOE)

My client is a leading provider of Data Insight technology, providing unique solutions for their clients. They are looking for a skilled JavaScript Developer to join their small but collaborative team, creating client specific digital solutions in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimise web applications using Next.js.
• Manage and integrate content through Contentful CMS, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Implement customisations and integrations for Shopify to improve eCommerce features.
• Collaborate with design and backend teams to ensure smooth and intuitive user experiences.
• Ensure responsive designs and cross-browser compatibility across all platforms.
• Diagnose and fix bugs to maintain high performance and reliability.
• Follow industry best practices for code quality, security, and scalability.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with Next.js and modern JavaScript.
• Solid background in working with Contentful CMS.
• Experience with Shopify, including customisation and API integrations.
• Strong understanding of web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript).
• Familiarity with version control systems like GIT.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Tailwind CSS or similar utility-first CSS frameworks.
• Familiarity with APIs (REST and GraphQL).
• Knowledge of eCommerce best practices.
• Understanding of performance optimisation in web applications.

• Applicants must be currently based in Leeds and able to commute to the office daily.
