HGV Class 2 Driver in Warrington, Cheshire

Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting forClass 2 driversfor work in Warrington and the surrounding areas. We have regular and ADHOC bookings available. We have a mixture of commercial and domestic deliveries including some pallet network jobs.

MUST HAVE 2 YEARS ON LICENCE

*Responsibilities*

• Drive Class 2 Vehicles to transport goods over short or long distances
• Ensure safe loading and unloading of cargo
• Plan routes to meet delivery schedules using scanner when required
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations

*Requirements*

• Hold a valid Class 2 Licence with no more than 6 points
• Proven experience as a lorry driver or similar role
• Ability to communicate fluently in English
• Be able to use a pump truck and have reasonable fitness
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road safety regulations
• Strong time management and organisational abilities
• Valid CPC
