Our client is a poplar Gastro Pub, serving some of the county’s finest food, and they are currently recruiting for a Chef de Partie for their busy venue. Their kitchen is lead by a talented and creative Head Chef, and they currently hold accolades for their high end cuisine. They require a Chef de Partie who is passionate, dedicated and eager to learn, and as Chef de Partie you will be looking to move into a kitchen where you can learn all about flavours and textures, and modern cooking techniques.

As Chef de Partie you will be responsible for assisting in the efficient running of the kitchen & maintaining consistently high standards. You will also work with the Head Chef in menu development and daily specials.

Ideally you will be a Chef de Partie with good experience in a professional high-end kitchen. You must be flexible to work on all sections as required and have the ability to train junior chefs on each section. As Chef de Partie you will work closely with the Head and Sous Chef, you must have good kitchen management skills and be committed to providing a high level of cuisine and service at all times. Prior experience in a similar environment is highly desirable.

Skills Required:

  • The ideal Chef de Partie will have a real passion for high level cuisine and fantastic food presentation.
  • Be able to work in a team, use your own initiative. Be innovative with concepts and ideas.
  • Have knowledge of Menu Completion, Stock control and Rotas
  • Variety of shifts including splits, evenings and weekend.
  • Driver is essential due to village location. Live-in can be provided for non-car drivers
