The Corporate Reporting Manager will be responsible to lead and work alongside the Group Financial Controller on ensure the Group is financially compliant. The Corporate Reporting manager will also work alongside the other finance managers to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting information within the system and presented to senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall ownership of Groups general ledgers.
- Leading the month-end process, which includes maintaining and reviewing balance sheet reconciliation and completing the monthly consolidation.
- Preparing, approving and reviewing all journals posted to the general ledger.
- Ownership of the groups month-end process.
- Preparing Group management accounts packs.
- Preparing the annual budget process by collaborating with other finance managers and business units.
- Preparing and submitting the Groups VAT return.
- Leading the Group audit and Corporation tax process.
- Leading the preparation of Group R&D and Patent box claim.
- Assisting the Group Financial controller or Ad Hoc Projects to support the Groups expansion.
- Preparation of year-end Statutory accounts.
- Submission of quarterly Grant submission and leading the quarterly audit.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- ACA/ACCA Qualified.
- Ideally have an audit or professional services background.
- Organised, persuasive, resourceful, flexible, ambitious, self-directing, passion for delivering objectives, comfortable challenging existing processes.
- Clear and effective communication skills with internal and external clients
- Must be a team player.
