Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Our client is recruiting for a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their team, ideally you will be a car driver due to the location.

Location: Canvey Island

Job Type: Full-time

Hours of Work: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

We are currently seeking a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join our team. This role is crucial for efficient operations in our warehouse, ensuring materials are moved safely and efficiently.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Operate counterbalance forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
• Ensure the safe and efficient handling of goods and materials.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring that goods are secured properly.
• Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment.
• Store the products in proper places in the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in the warehouse.
• Follow proper handling procedures for all materials, including hazardous substances.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid counterbalance forklift driving license.
• Proven experience as a forklift operator.
• Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
• Excellent physical condition and coordination.
