Job Description

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in youth justice, safeguarding, or related children's social care services.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989, Crime and Disorder Act 1998, Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012, and Working Together to Safeguard Children (2018).
  • Ability to write high-quality, evidence-based reports for court and panel reviews.
  • Experience working with young people involved in the criminal justice system, including those at risk of exploitation or serious youth violence.
