Their innovative products are designed for use in harsh environments and are trusted across Aeropause, Defense, Space, and Industrial markets. Job Information As the CI Engineer, you will leverage your engineering expertise to support and enhance Continuous Improvement initiatives across Cinch’s shop floor. This position is essential in optimizing production processes, developing new product requirements, and implementing robust CI activities. Key Responsibilities · Lead CI Initiatives: Coordinate and lead Continuous Improvement activities. · Process Development: Introduce and refine routing, work instructions, and production documentation. · Documentation and Reporting: Create, manage, and control documentation, including PRR processes, 8D, and ECN forms. · Tooling and Equipment: Design and coordinate tooling requirements and source new equipment. · Project Support: Support Design Engineering with new process and product development, including training staff on production standards. · Training and Assessment: Develop shop floor skills assessments, deliver training, and support 5S assessments. Qualifications and Experience · Degree or Graduate-level Engineer with a strong foundation in Engineering. · Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction across all levels internally and externally. · Primarily based at the Worksop facility, with occasional domestic travel to other Cinch plants, customer sites, or suppliers.
