- Salary: £50k – £55k per annum
We are seeking a Senior Operations Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. This role is crucial for someone who excels in problem-solving and strategic thinking as our business rapidly scales. You will play a key role in transforming the transport industry and contributing to the success and future of our company.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead the live operations team, ensuring day-to-day management and oversight.
- Drive the profitability and performance of the team.
- Deliver and exceed service levels for both shippers and carriers.
- Manage the accuracy and timeliness of the Carrier Self Billing programme.
- Collaborate with the onboarding team to ensure seamless addition of new shippers and carriers.
- Uphold and promote the company's values within the team.
- Ensure Gross Profit is generated and protected through accurate transactions on the platform.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of operational experience in Road Freight in the UK/Ireland.
- Proven management and leadership experience.
- Excellent knowledge of UK & Ireland geography.
- Ability to motivate the team to exceed targets.
- Tenacious and capable of thriving under positive pressure with a knack for problem-solving.
- Strong networking and collaborative skills.
