Factory and Office Cleaner

Description: Benchmark is looking to recruit a full time factory and office cleaner. We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, with a "can do" attitude and able to work on own initiative. Previous cleaning experience in a factory environment would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.

Main Duties:

· Cleaning the internal and external areas of the premises.

· Ensuring that all factory walkways, gang ways, exit areas are clean and tidy to a high standard including vacuuming/sweeping and mopping floors.

· Ensuring and emptying cardboard waste, metal waste, recyclable waste and general waste in the correct compactor provided.

· Clean car park as well as designated smoking area and empty cigarette bins.

· Clean and wipe surfaces around the factory to be clear of dust and soot.

· Clean stair ways and landing areas within the factory.

· Clean boiler rooms and storerooms as and when required.

· Clean kitchen areas as and when required.

· Clean toilet areas as and when required.

· Complying with safety policies and procedures when using chemicals

· Able to adapt to different situations

· Able to prioritise workload to deadlines.
