Sales Advisor in Cranleigh

Rohan is a constant companion for every journey, and we are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic customer-focused part time Sales Advisor to represent Rohan in a brand-new concession within the Notcutts Garden Centre in Cranleigh.

This is a standalone role within a larger Garden Centre, so we are looking for a confident, independent individual who will use their initiative, who will embrace the expectation of a degree of lone working.

Your next destination

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and set exemplary standards of customer service at all times. You will enjoy dealing with our customers in a friendly and efficient manner and will always be happy to help with any queries they may have.

You will also:

• Ensure the stockrooms are maintained to a high standard, and also that the shop is clean, neat and tidy at all times.
• Be capable of clear and concise written and verbal communication
• Be an excellent timekeeper
• Have full awareness of security issues, (e.g. stock loss prevention)
• Give advice and suggestions where necessary
• Engage with the customer and make them feel welcome

What will you need?

You will have good organisational and communication skills and enjoy giving great customer service and achieving goals. To fulfil this exciting role you will possess excellent Customer Service skills, which you will have gained within a retail environment, ideally within the outdoor industry.

Additionally, you must have the following qualities:

• Self-motivated, independent, and willing to use initiative

• Good customer services skills
• Good selling skills, with confidence to upsell
• Well presented
• Flexible
• Good communication skills
• IT Literate
• Approachable, friendly and outgoing personality
• Previous retail experience preferred but not essential
• Interest in the outdoors preferred but not essential
