Landscape Gardener in Preston, Lancashire

Service Care Solutions have an exciting opportunity to join a landscaping company based in Preston who have a permanent position for a Landscape Gardener.

Covering the Preston and Surrounding areas, we are seeking a gardener who is ideally experienced with both soft and hard landscaping.

Key duties will include:

• Landscape construction hard and soft landscape
• Labouring work for hard landscape construction and artificial grass installation/patio installation and flagging.
• Soft landscaping construction work including planting of trees, shrubs, beds and borders; seeding, turfing,
• practical gardening tasks including pest and disease control, weed control.
• Grounds maintenance works on both commercial and domestic contracts
• Communicate with manager and colleagues
• Communicate with key client staff and external contractors where necessary.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach
• Compliance with statutory regulations including H & S regulations
• Use own initiative to satisfy client contracted needs
• Solve problems in a safe manner and escalate any necessary issue to the Line Manager

Skills/Qualifications required for this role:

• Interest in landscaping and horticulture
• Self-motivated and good work ethic
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Physically fit
• Good interpersonal skills
• Team worker
• Full UK Driving Licence

This is a full-time role working from 7:30am till 5pm Monday to Friday with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
