Are you an experienced Gas Engineer Commercial seeking an exciting new challenge in a supportive and growing company? Antac is looking for a skilled engineer to join our site based team at RAF Northolt, where you\’ll be responsible for Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs, including servicing, breakdowns, and general maintenance of gas systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform servicing and maintenance of commercial gas boilers, ensuring full compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
- Replace gas meters, booster sets, and components as required.
- Service commercial hot water cylinders to keep them in optimal working condition.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain and repair gas systems across the site to ensure safety and performance.
- Review and assess jobs, ensuring the correct materials are ordered in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the Site Manager to complete and sign off on job paperwork and documentation.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Gas Engineer Commercial, with a strong focus on fault diagnosis and system repair.
- Relevant Commercial Gas qualifications (COCDN1) are essential. Additional certifications such as CSGA1, CIGA1, and COCN1 will be supported.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and practical experience using relevant hand and power tools.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial gas and heating systems.
- Full UK driving license.
- Ability to pass Security Clearance for work on MoD sites.
