Your Role

As a Field Service Engineer at Girbau, you’ll be the face of our company, providing exceptional service and support to customers across the UK. Your key responsibilities will include:

Attending customer sites to carry out repairs, maintenance, and servicing on Girbau’s industry-leading commercial laundry equipment.

Diagnosing and fixing breakdowns efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to our customers. Upholding our high standards of professionalism and customer service.

Keeping your van well-maintained and stocked, with the latest tools and technology at your disposal.

Enhancing your skills through ongoing training and development, with opportunities to specialise and grow.

What We’re Looking For

✔ Electrically competent – Ideally, you’ll have a City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 qualification.

✔ Knowledge of Safe Systems of Work – Electrical isolation, dead testing, and compliance with regulations.

✔ Gas qualifications – Not essential, but experience in domestic or commercial gas servicing is a bonus (and we’ll support you in gaining qualifications if needed!).

✔ Experience with laundry machines – If you’ve worked with similar machinery before, great! If not, we’ll train you.

✔ A positive, customer-focused attitude – We value people who take pride in their work and go the extra mile.

The Package

Fixed bonus structure plus overtime & additional pay for multiple jobs.

Full-time role with structured scheduling.

Van provided (including personal use!) – Electric vans available in city centres.

Travel up to 2 hours from home – No excessive travel, so you can enjoy more time for yourself. 1 weekend rota per month – A predictable and manageable schedule.
