Term Time Teachers are seeking Special Needs Teaching Assistants who are interested in exploring the benefits of joining an agency. Key responsibilities as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant:

  • Assisting students with emotional or behavioural difficulties, implementing suitable strategies to support their development.
  • Collaborating with the class teacher to prepare materials and tailor lessons to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Providing one-to-one or group support to students both in the classroom and throughout the school day.
  • Tracking and documenting students' progress while offering feedback to the class teacher.
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of students, and promoting their welfare.

Requirements:

  • Hold the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be happy to apply.
  • Relevant experience in the industry is advantageous but not essential.
  • Be able to provide two references within the last 2 years.
