The Electronic Engineering Placement Student will work as part of a multidisciplinary team for 12 months. You will gain experience using Altium Designer for schematic capture, layout, simulation and design re-use purposes. You will be supported by other Electronics Engineers. This is a 12-month fixed term contract starting in September 2025 and will be based fulltime onsite at OI Andor, Springvale Business Park, Belfast. We are for looking enthusiastic electronic engineering students who: Will have successfully completed the 2nd year of a BEng honours degree or Masters (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering by June 2025 Are available to start placement in September 2025 Are hungry to learn and innovate Are excellent team players and communicators Are eager to apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges How to Apply: If you are ready to embark on a thrilling engineering journey with us apply via Jobs at Oxford Instruments with a CV and a cover letter outlining your aspirations and why you’d be a great fit for OI Andor.
