Description
Our client is an alternative asset management firm focused on investment opportunities in alternative credit. They are looking to hire a Product Specialist to support with product management, client relations and business development activities.
Responsibilities:
- Create and distribute monthly/quarterly portfolio reports for investors, working closely with the investment teams to collate relevant information and data.
- Participate in technical discussions with clients and respond to a broad range of investor queries.
- Direct exposure to the portfolio management team, attending weekly investment meetings to better understand their investment views and positioning.
- Produce investor communications including marketing materials and thought leadership pieces.
- Drive process for creating responses to investor questionnaires, due diligence and ad hoc requests from existing or prospective clients.
- Actively involved in supporting senior members of the team with fundraising initiatives.
Experience/Skills Required:
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience with an asset manager or hedge fund.
- Fixed income or loan/credit experience preferred but not required.
- CFA a plus, but not essential.
- Degree educated with strong academic performance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly motivated individual who is proactive and intellectually curious.
- Willingness to take initiative and monitor workload to meet agreed deadlines.
