Rural Valuation Surveyor, Full time, Harrogate, NorthYorkshire

Lister Haigh has developed an enviable reputation in agricultural and rural consultancy operating in North Yorkshire, primarily in Nidderdale, the A1 corridor and the Vale of York. Key Responsibilities:

  • Valuations for all rural property types – inheritance and taxation, tax planning, family and partnerships, acquisition and sale, tenant right and stocktaking.
  • Compulsory Purchase and Compensation claims relating to road schemes, electricity and water utilities, as well as Part 1 Claims.
  • Strategic Rural/Agri-Business advice.
  • Consultancy to include Environmental Land Management.
  • Renewable Energy, and other emerging opportunities

The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation of skills and experience, including:

  • At least 3 years of post-qualification experience and CAAV accreditation (or working towards)
  • RICS qualification
  • A good understanding of the local property market and rural landscape
  • Ability to manage workloads efficiently, meet deadlines, and deliver a high standard of service.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with clients, the team and other professionals.
  • A high level of accuracy and professionalism
