Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

Lead Engineer (Controls & Instrumentation) – Office based Guinea, West Africa We are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer (Controls & Instrumentation) to oversee engineering efforts for a large-scale iron ore project in West Africa . Role Overview: Manage and oversee Controls & Instrumentation (C&I) engineering for rail and export infrastructure. Ensure safe, fit-for-purpose designs aligned with project standards. Monitor contractor performance and ensure quality deliverables. Oversee scope integration, technical reviews, and field engineering efforts. Support commissioning, issue resolution, and change management. Key Requirements: ~15+ years in C&I engineering, ideally in mega projects, mining, or material handling . ~ Strong leadership and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments. ~ Experience in Africa or China is highly regarded. ~ Proficiency in French or Chinese is a plus. ~ Relevant engineering degree required.
