Job Description

Overview: Chef Trainer

Do you have a wide variety of experience as a Head Chef and looking for more work/life balance? We might just have the opportunity for you! We are looking for an experienced Chef who enjoys training and instructing, passing their knowledge onto the next generation of Chef professionals.

This is a full-time, permanent position WFH (working from home).

You must have a background in cooking from scratch and at least 3 years' experience in a Chef position (at least 3 years at Chef de Partie level for example) to be considered for this position.

Purpose of the role: Chef Trainer

Once qualified (TAQA and AET), you will be managing a caseload of Chef learners (mixture of Level 2 – Level 4) both remotely (via telephone, video, email) and visits to the learner in their place of work. Coaching and mentoring the learner through to completion of their Chef qualifications.

Full training and qualifications are fully funded and provided by the employer.

Chef Trainer: Essentials

  • A minimum 3 years industry experience in a high level Chef position
  • You will be based from Home, covering the Hull and surrounding area
  • A mixture of home working/remote and visiting learners in their place of work once/twice per week in and around Hull and surrounding area
  • Full Training and qualifications are funded and provided by the employer

Chef Trainer: Salary and Expenses

  • The role is full-time, permanent
  • 40 hour working week, Mon-Fri, no unsociable hours or weekends
  • Home based and flexible working – manage your own diary
