Job Description

Have you had experience working as a housing support worker? Do you hold the necessary skills to help vulnerable people maintain accommodation? I'm excited to be able to recruit for my client who are looking for a strong Housing Support worker to work with a 24/7 supported accommodation. You will be supporting vulnerable adults and giving them the chance to maintain safe and comfortable accommodation.

Main Duties

  • Manging face-to-face, telephone and email queries from people living in the supported accommodation, as well as relevant professionals.
  • Providing high quality support, advice and signposting focusing on clients strengths and goals to make sure they are suited to them.
  • Providing assistance to clients applying for housing benefits, welfare benefits, EU Settled Status and/or in work benefits.
  • Carrying out client assessments to identify priority and ongoing needs, risk and assets including establishing move on options.
