My client is a multi-family office running circa $3.9Bn AUM and has been consistently growing. They are now looking to add to their Manager Research team. Key role responsibilities include:
New investments:
- Support due diligence of new investment proposals, including track record analysis, drafting of investment memorandums and other relevant documents, and participation in investment committee discussions.
- Assist screening of prospective new fund investments through participation in fund manager meetings and maintenance of pipeline database.
- Prepare investment research to support strategy and fund selection.
Existing portfolio:
- Ongoing monitoring and reporting of relevant information on private equity funds portfolio.
- Attend fund manager AGMs and ad-hoc meetings.
- Support performance analysis for annual reporting process and client presentations.
Ad-hoc projects:
- Research and analysis to support ad-hoc presentations and reporting (e.g. to potential new clients).
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years experience of manager research having covered at least some private equity focused manager research. Strong excel skills and excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a small team are also required.
