My client is a multi-family office running circa $3.9Bn AUM and has been consistently growing. They are now looking to add to their Manager Research team. Key role responsibilities include:

New investments:

  1. Support due diligence of new investment proposals, including track record analysis, drafting of investment memorandums and other relevant documents, and participation in investment committee discussions.
  2. Assist screening of prospective new fund investments through participation in fund manager meetings and maintenance of pipeline database.
  3. Prepare investment research to support strategy and fund selection.

Existing portfolio:

  1. Ongoing monitoring and reporting of relevant information on private equity funds portfolio.
  2. Attend fund manager AGMs and ad-hoc meetings.
  3. Support performance analysis for annual reporting process and client presentations.

Ad-hoc projects:

  1. Research and analysis to support ad-hoc presentations and reporting (e.g. to potential new clients).

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years experience of manager research having covered at least some private equity focused manager research. Strong excel skills and excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a small team are also required.
