Are you a passionate and experienced Paediatric Dietitian looking for a rewarding opportunity in a dynamic and supportive environment? We are looking for a Band 7 Specialist Paediatric Dietitian to join our dedicated team based in South London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in both an inpatient and outpatient setting, providing high-quality care to children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inpatient Care: Provide specialist dietetic services to the Paediatric ward, including 4 HDU Level 2 beds, ensuring high standards of clinical care.
- Outpatient Clinics: Lead 2 outpatient clinics per week, managing a range of paediatric conditions and supporting families with tailored dietary plans.
- Multidisciplinary Team Collaboration: Work closely with medical, nursing, and allied health teams to deliver optimal nutritional care.
- Clinical Supervision & Teaching: Offer guidance and support to junior dietitians and contribute to educational programs for healthcare staff.
- Patient Education & Support: Provide expert advice to parents and caregivers to improve the nutritional health of children in your care.
Essential Criteria:
- Qualification: HCPC registered Dietitian with a degree in Dietetics or equivalent.
- Experience: Significant post-graduate experience in paediatric dietetics, including inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Specialist Knowledge: Experience in managing complex paediatric conditions and working in HDU/critical care environments.
- Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
