We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly those in nursing homes or requiring specialised care such as dementia support. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for implementing care plans and managing behaviours while maintaining a positive and encouraging environment., * Assist clients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.

• Provide patient care with a focus on individual needs and preferences.

• Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals to ensure effective support.

• Manage behaviours appropriately, employing techniques that promote calmness and understanding.

• Assist with mobility and heavy lifting when necessary to ensure client safety.

• Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.

• Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in behaviour or health status.

• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

• Previous experience in caregiving, nursing homes, or related fields is preferred but not essential.

• Knowledge of patient care principles and practices is advantageous.

• Familiarity with behaviour management techniques is beneficial.

• Understanding of dementia care practices is highly desirable.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

• A valid driver’s licence is preferred but not essential
