Job Description
We are looking for a Relief Support Worker to join our friendly staff team. Our vibrant supported living service in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, supports individuals with learning disabilities, complex needs, mental health needs and autism. We are committed to providing quality person-centred care and ensuring that our service users live valued and fulfilling lives.
We seek warm, caring, and proactive individuals to provide respectful, high-intensity personal care, as well as practical and emotional support to our service users. In this role, you will ensure that no two days are the same, engaging service users in a wide range of exciting activities within their homes and the community. Your responsibilities will include providing practical, emotional and behavioural support to service users, assisting with cooking, cleaning, housework and other life skills, making a positive difference in individuals’ lives, developing and sustaining warm and trusting relationships with service users and carrying out general administrative duties and housing management tasks.
Candidate Requirements: Twelve months care experience is essential for all Relief roles. Candidates must have a clean, valid driving licence.
As a Creative Support Bank Staff member, you will have access to our free app, which allows you to pick up shifts in any area of the country and provides information on the service, including directions. You will be paid on a weekly basis.
