I am working on behalf of a fantastic nursery setting for children between the ages of 3 Months to 5 years old to recruit for an experienced Deputy Manager. The role is based in Congleton

The role includes:

Working alongside the nursery manager and deputising in their absence

Key working Assisting the manager in ensuring all regulations, standards and procedures are adhered to

Involved with the recruitment and selection process of new staff

Co-ordinating tasks and responsibilities and ability to delegate where necessary

Maintaining up to date records of the staff team

Providing Supporting staff team with their development
-
Creating a safe and nurturing environment that follows the company’s ethos
When looking for new members of the management team, my client has a clear vision. Someone that has the ability to lead a team by example, not being afraid to do what made you enjoy working in a nursery in the first place as well as contributing to the smooth day to day running of the setting

3 years’ Experience working within an Early Years setting (Essential)

Level 3 Diploma for The Early Years Workforce (Essential)

Full driving license with access to own transport (Desirable), * Nursery: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent) (preferred)
