We are looking for an experienced Machinist to join our clients team on a 2 month contract basis in Aberdeenshire.

There are 3 categories within the Job role which are Machinist Level I, Machinist Level II and Lead Machinist These are based on the competence proficiency levels detailed below:
Competency Proficiency:
The competency Proficiency levels are defined as follows:
* BASIC – Having the theoretical knowledge and being able to perform the tasks related to under supervision
* INTERMEDIATE – Having the knowledge and practical experience to be able to perform the task independently in a standard environment
* ADVANCED – Having the knowledge and practical experience to be able to perform all tasks in that skill and the ability to train others
* EXPERT – Having extensive knowledge and practical experience of all tasks in the skill and serving as a company reference for all aspects of that skill including training, assessment and execution.
Job Summary – Machinist Level I
Primary Responsibilities Include:
* INTERMEDIATE Machine operations and threading
* INTERMEDIATE understanding of IMTE
* Understanding of Product drawings and specification
Job Summary – Inspector Level II
* ADVANCED Machine operations and threading
* ADVANCED understanding of IMTE
* Assist with Trainee Machinist development
Job Summary – Lead Machinist
* Advanced Machine operations and threading
* Advanced understanding of IMTE
* Operate different machine types
* Experience in multi departments
* Assist with Training
* Lead Machinist in Internal / External audits
Qualifications/Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years in a machine shop environment
* Experience cutting API and / or Premium drilling threads (essential)
* Knowledge of operating systems (essential) FANUC (preferred)
* Experience in programming (essential) FANUC (preferred)
