Jewson are recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join their new branch in Croydon Purley Way
At Jewson, where we are Proud to Partner The Trades, we're opening a new state of the art branch in Farnborough offering an innovative and cutting edge merchant experience. As such we are recruiting for a new dynamic and passionate team to join us on this exciting journey.
We are seeking aspiring future leaders to join our team as a Class 2 Driver. Location: Croydon, CR0 4BD
Hours: Monday to Friday between 06:00- 19:00 and alternate Saturdays 08:00-12:00 (exact hours to be discussed at interview)

What will I be doing?
No two days will ever be the same with us! You'll be safely delivering building materials to our customers with a professional and friendly approach, loading and unloading, operating the crane and supporting team members when needed, offering you job satisfaction in an incredibly varied role.
Exceptional customer service is at the heart of what we do and as a customer delivery driver and the face of the company you will be ensuring that all your interactions with customers are of the highest standard.
We will also provide a fully funded induction at our industry leading training academy, where we ensure our drivers have the correct skills and knowledge to carry out their role, providing excellent customer service and operating safely and legally on the road. This induction includes ALLMI accredited lorry loader training.
Am I the right person for this role?
It's our customers – builders, roofers, plasterers, and landscapers- who make the magic happen when it comes to building communities. These brilliant tradespeople are powered by Jewson to provide the high-quality products and expert services they need to grow their own businesses. Previous Class 2 multidrop experience would be beneficial in this role, even better if this has been gained in a merchant environment. However, we are open to all experience as long as you are ambitious and sales focused.
