A private dentistry based in the West End London is seeking a Dental Administrator to provide general administration, PA duties, and treatment assistance and discussions. The Dental Administrator will have proven experience in administration and have a technical/scientific mindset. In addition the Dental Administrator, will be highly organised, self-motivated, communicative, and passionate. Ideally would have a background in dentistry or another medical industry but training will be provided for the right person. Applications from ex-military personnel are strongly encouraged Key Responsibilities: Administration duties as well as use of relevant software Personal Assistant duties as well as diary coordination for clinicians Build rapport with patients, referring dentists and doctors and nurses, and businesses Provide treatment discussions and pre- and aftercare instructions Manage patient records and documentation efficiently and securely Some chairside nursing as needed, especially to cover illness, holidays, or busy periods (Nursing duties will include for both orthodontics and facial aesthetics). Training can be provided. Some involvement in research (both marketing and scientific also). Training can be provided. Liaise with the marketing team and oversee any rebranding Continue professional development, conference attendance, and some professional dinners Knowledge, skills and qualifications: Essential: Previous work experience in administration and PA Have a medical, scientific or technical background/experience Have strong IT, organisational and communication skills Is empathetic, proactive and able to work unsupervised Is discrete and professional Is self-motivated and passionate Able to delegate and improve in-house systems and methods Desirables: GDC Registered DCP or NMC Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 DOE Benefits: Quarterly bonus (company performance based)
