This is an exceptional opportunity to join an international provider of classification, compliance & consultancy services to the marine & offshore industry. Our client helps customers design, construct & operate their assets to the highest levels of safety & performance using qualified materials, fabrication processes and inspection methods. Our client is looking for a Marine & Offshore Coatings Specialist who would be working closely with a team of specialist colleagues and technical support officers. This role will have specific responsibilities for product qualification test requirements and certification activities, working as a team to ensure compliance with Rules and Regulations. Involvement and input into key Research and Technology projects will also be required. About the Candidate: * To have an understanding of the design, manufacture and certification aspects of engineering polymers, coatings and/or non-metallic materials. * Demonstrable knowledge and practice of the chemistry and formulation of marine coatings and/or engineering polymers, including manufacturing processes and applications. * Knowledge and experience in the application of relevant industry standards and practices. * Minimum of 2 years industrial experience ideally gained in marine or related area working with coatings and/or non-metallic materials.Benefits: * Hybrid working (would consider remote working for an exceptional candidate). * 26 days holiday, plus bank holidays. * Private health and dental care. * Annual bonus, dependent on performance.
