IMMEDIATE 7.5T / DELIVERY DRIVER VACANCIES – ONGOING CONTRACT UK LEADING PUBLIC SECTOR PROVIDER, LIGHT WORK DAYS ONLY GUARANTEED 5 DAYS A WEEK AND WEEKLY PAY £££14.50ph Our client a leading logistics supplier within the public sector are seeking professional 7.5 Tonne delivery drivers to join their team on a temp to permanent basis. Drivers are customer facing and therefore act as ambassadors for our client there for as a multi-drop driver you will be expected to deliver a range of parcels & goods to commercial destinations. The 7.5 Tonne Van Driver role will include route planning, completion of paperwork, parcel & vehicle checks, making deliveries / collections and providing the best possible customer service. Working professionally and efficiently to deliver service in accordance with relevant Company policy. Job Duties 7am start – 15:45pm approx finish Monday to Friday 7.5 Tonne Multidrop deliveries mostly local and South East runs · Carry out daily vehicle safety checks reporting any faults to Line Manager ensuring that the Company vehicle allocated is maintained in a roadworthy and clean condition, documenting appropriate checks and reporting any faults immediately. · Ensure 7.5T vehicle is kept clean and tidy and only used for business purpose · Assist in loading assembled orders onto vehicle ensuring that the payload is within the limits for the vehicle and goods are safely loaded for delivery. · Ensure duties are carried out complying fully with the requirements of the Company Operators Licence. · Ensure all scheduled deliveries are completed in a timely manner unloading and taking to final delivery point as requested. · Ensure that all POD (Proof Of Delivery) paperwork is correct and authorised · Fuel Efficient & Safe Driving – A fuel efficient driver is an asset to any company. * 7.5T Driving Licence * Over the age of 21 * At least 6 months commercial driving experience * No more than 6 points * Right to work in the UK Zoom are a specialist recruiter for the Logistics & Supply Chain Sector our Driver Team are ready to speak to you as soon as you apply.
