JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for an experienced Business Analyst with a background in mortgages or financial services.

Job Profile:

As a Business Analyst, experience in mortgage systems, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, analyse business processes, and recommend improvements. You will be responsible for documenting requirements, coordinating with vendors to implement system changes and co-ordinate testing. Additionally, you will provide support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively utilise new system functionalities.

Daily Duties and Responsibilities:

* Documenting business requirements through to implementation.

* Work with business areas to ensure decisions are made in line with requirements.

* Planning, and co-ordinating system testing.

* To maintain project records; analysis documentation, test plans & test status reports.

* To record, monitor, control and report as required.

* Contributing to the continuous improvement of service, systems, processes, procedures and policy to ensure they continue to meet business requirements. This may include; IT system testing for upgrades, fixes, product launches and changes, reviewing and updating of procedures and policies.

* Building effective relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts and provide, training, technical support and expertise as required.

* Monitor system performance against SLA’s and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Person Specification

* Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with vendors and end-users.

* Delivery of business improvements, IT based change initiatives.

* Test management techniques.

* Background in financial services or other similar regulated environment.
