Sales Technical Coordinator – Overview We are currently working with an established Renewable Energy company based in the Portsmouth area who are looking for multiple people to fulfil the role of Sales Technical Coordinator. This is a sales based role in which your time will be split between the office and on the road, working to qualify and develop sales leads which are provided for you as well as self-generating leads on door to door sales. The company are a successful business which have been operating for over 15 years. In the South East area. They install boilers and renewable energy systems such as Heat Pumps and Solar PV systems in domestic premises and the majority of their work is delivered under the government schemes such as BUS (boiler upgrade scheme) or RHI (Renewable Heat Incentive). They have installed 1-in-4 measures that have been installed under the government schemes. They currently buy a substantial amount of leads for lead providers. Part of this role will be to call and qualify these leads, assessing the customers suitability and whether they fit the criteria of the government grant schemes in order to progress forward with their installation. This will take up 3-4 days per week and will be the majority of the role and you will receive bonuses for every lead that results in an installation. On a routine basis, certain post code areas are deemed as ‘suitable’ for the government grants schemes, often these will be a full road of properties. When these post code areas are released to the business, the other part of your role will be to go to this post code area and canvass from door to door to generate leads and gain interest in the companies services. Once again, for every self-generated lead that results in an installation, you will receive bonuses on top. Although there is a mobile element to this role, is will only be a couple of days per week on the road. Rather than a company vehicle, you will use your own vehicle but receive a £3000 car allowance + mileage for the time you are on the road. Therefore a vehicle and a UK driving licence is required for this role.
