Our client is looking for a skilled Workshop Powered Access Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must hold a valid CAP qualification and have a strong understanding of powered access equipment. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for maintenance, repairs, and ensuring the safe operation of equipment. Workshop Powered Access Engineer Job Overview Perform pre-delivery inspections of vehicle-mounted platforms at the Depot, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines, company policies, and safety regulations. Communicate defects or unsafe equipment to the Depot Manager promptly. Diagnose, repair, and address faults to ensure platforms meet company standards. Conduct LOLER inspections following manufacturer instructions and regulatory requirements. Accurately document tasks using the handheld tablet, including labor time, parts used, and vehicle status updates. Ensure proper stock control for all parts and consumables. Report potential customer recharges or warranty issues to the Service Department. Adhere to the company's health and safety procedures at all times. Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment. Follow the Employee Handbook policies and carry out any additional duties as required. Relevant general maintenance qualification with proven experience in the plant rental sector. Strong background in auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostics/fault finding.
