HGV C+E (Class-1) Drivers. Overview. Raymond Brown Haulage Ltd are seeking skilled and experienced HGV C+E (Class-1) Drivers to join our team. As an integral part of our transport department, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods across various locations. Responsibilities: * Safely operate and drive HGV C+E vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations * Adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies to ensure the safety of yourself and others on the road * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its roadworthiness * Communicate effectively with the office team and report any incidents or issues that may arise during the transportation process * Maintain accurate records of hours driven, miles covered, and goods delivered * Ensure the timely and secure delivery of goods to customers and maintain a high level of customer service at all times. Qualifications: * Valid HGV C+E (Class-1) licence * Driver CPC qualification * Proven experience as an HGV C+E driver (ideal but not essential) * Clean driving record with no major offence's * Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and road safety regulations * Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must * Ability to work independently and in a team environment * Flexibility to work long hours and travel to different locations as we operate within the events industry so therefore start & finish times are varied. Day-to-day: * Conduct regular vehicle inspections and perform necessary maintenance. * Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods. * Communicate with the office team and customers to provide updates on delivery status as well as high standards of safety and professionalism while representing the company.
