We have a fantastic role become available with our Global client, for a Multi-Skilled Engineer based in Bedford – if you have solid mechanical and electrical skills, this could be the next career move for you! In this role, you will be crucial in maintaining their plant and building services to the highest standards. Multi-Skilled Engineer £53,288.96 (Inclusive of shift premium) Permanent – full time – Panama Shift (Days and Nights – 12 hour shift) Responsibilities – * Complete basic work on 3-phase and single-phase electrical systems for general fault finding. * Utilise the CMMS system for clear communication of completed work, issues, and spare parts requirements. * Root cause analysis to solve problems and prevent failures. * Challenge unsafe behaviours, especially regarding Food Safety and Health and Safety. * Share knowledge and experience effectively, and familiarity with SOPs * General fabricating and welding Qualifications and Skills * City and Guilds, B.T.E.C, or a recognized engineering qualification. * Previous experience in a maintenance engineering role. * Safe Electrical working certificate. * Experience working within the food industry * Computer literate with Microsoft Office packages. * Familiarity/training with C.O.S.H.H, I.O.S.H, H.A.C.C.P, and Food Hygiene procedures * Forklift and Access Platform licenses * Experience working on steam and boiler systems, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems Fantastic opportunity for the right person
