Firmware Engineer Derbyshire £55,000 Zenovo are currently recruiting on behalf of one our long-standing customers in Derbyshire who are looking for a Firmware Engineer to help them design, develop, test and release high-quality embedded microcontroller firmware. You will need exposure to the full product development life cycle and ideally experience with low-power firmware design using bare-metal and real-time methodologies Main Responsibilities: Design & Develop firmware solutions Assist in designing and documenting detailed firmware specifications and test plans Ensuring that firmware is always functional and up-to-date Evaluating and optimising existing firmware performance Performing code reviews and troubleshooting firmware Key Competencies/experience: 3+ years of experience developing firmware for real-time embedded systems C programming language experience on 16/32-bit microcontroller embedded platforms Experience working with cellular & Low-power WAN. Familiarity with Arm Cortex M, M16C, MSP430 or PIC based microcontrollers Understanding of bare-metal design principles
