Our client is a lower-mid cap private equity firm, who are looking to expand their small but embedded portfolio strategy team.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager in Value Creation. In this pivotal role, you will lead initiatives to enhance the performance and value of their portfolio companies. You will work closely with executive teams, identifying growth opportunities, optimising operations, and driving strategic initiatives that deliver measurable results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement value-creation strategies across portfolio companies, focusing on operational excellence, revenue growth, and market expansion.
- Operational Improvement: Identify and execute initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase profitability within portfolio companies.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress and ensure that value creation goals are met.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with portfolio company management teams, board members, and internal investment teams to align value creation strategies with broader business objectives.
- Due Diligence: Support the investment team in assessing potential acquisitions by providing insights into operational capabilities and identifying value-creation opportunities.
- Mentorship and Development: Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in private equity, management consulting, or a related field with a strong focus on value creation.
- Skills:
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives in complex business environments.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with operational improvement and cost management.
