We are a Trust that puts people—both children and staff—at the heart of everything we do. This is your chance to join an organisation that is not only committed to educational excellence but also to fostering a warm, supportive, and collaborative culture. Your expertise will help shape the future of education for children in our local area, and you will be instrumental in ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed.
As CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of our Trust and ensuring sustainable growth. But more than that, you will be part of a team that is directly impacting the lives of local children, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support high-quality teaching and learning. We are looking for someone with financial leadership experience, ideally from within the education sector or a similar public sector environment. You will have the ability to manage budgets while staying committed to the ethos of a Trust that prioritises children’s outcomes above all else.
This role offers the unique opportunity to:
- Advise Headteachers on financial matters
- Make strategic financial decisions that will benefit children in our Trust’s schools.
- Work within a close-knit team where your voice matters.
- Contribute to the long-term sustainability and success of schools that are deeply rooted in their communities.
- Be part of the Trust’s Executive Leadership Team
Key attributes include:
- A proven track record of senior financial leadership.
- Strong understanding of financial compliance and risk management.
- The ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to a range of stakeholders, including non-financial colleagues and governors.
- Alignment with the values of Coppice Primary Partnership: Excellence, Collaboration and Growth, Stewardship and Responsibility.
If you’re ready to make a lasting impact and take on a role where your financial leadership will contribute to the success of future generations, we would love to hear from you.
Please note, we review applications on a rolling-basis and will therefore close the advert early if we find the right candidate, we look forward to receiving your application.
