Technical Writer – Aerospace Products, Buckinghamshire. Our client, a World Leader within the Aerospace Industry, is looking to appoint a Technical Writer to join them on a Permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join a fantastic company, where you will have a good amount of interaction with many stakeholders in the course of your work. Salary: Competitive with Benefits. The Role: Join our client on this mission as a Technical Writer working within their Materials and Processes team. This is an exciting opportunity where you will gain a great understanding of their products and you will be producing and updating technical documents in accordance with our client's engineering procedures and quality standards, as well as Military, Civil, Federal and other related standards and laws. These documents shall include, but are not limited to, Process, Fabric and Material Specifications, change documentation and other related documents. You will be researching technical requirements for publications of technical work instructions referencing engineering drawings, CAD models, production standards, processes, industry Specifications, maintenance manuals and other, to collect information and identify best practises as well as liaising with stake holders both internal (e.g. other department such as Production or Engineering) and external (i.e. suppliers) to verify and collect data regarding specifications updates. Characteristics & Skills: Know how to listen and communicate effectively with others. Experience in a technical writing role preferably within an Aerospace, Defence or similar engineering environment. 3D CAD software for model and drawing generation. Knowledge and application of mechanical engineering, materials and processes widely used within the Aerospace and Defence sector. Committed to the highest standards. Have an eye for detail and getting things right. Share and demonstrate our client's Values. Highly developed skill in applying the English Language, including Simplified English.
