This leading client of ours have an exciting opportunity for a candidate with experience of working within a claims environment to come and join their team. The suitable candidate will have previous experience of working with claims, with strong communication skills, and the ability to work within a team environment.

Please note – This opportunity will be office based until after training, candidates must be able to get to Borehamwood.
Salary – £30,000 – £34,000 depending on experience
Some of the duties will include:
Act as the first point of contact for providing advice to policyholders throughout the life cycle of a claim
Accurately record and analyse all information in order to validate and proceed with the claim
Monitor the progress of a claim ensuring to keep customers and other parties up to date of the progress
Negotiate, settle or redispute claims with insurers
Prepare written responses to enquiries
Process and maintain the departmental inbox
Maintain diary systems by written and verbal communication
Enter data accurately for client records
Ensure all documentation issued and actions taken fall within the agreed service standards and FCA regulations
The suitable candidate:
A high level of written and spoken English
Previous experience of working within a claims environment
Strong communication skills on all levels
A high level of attention to detail
Ability to work well within a team environment
Organised with the ability to meet deadlines
Must be within a commutable distance of Borehamwood
