Fire Alarm Service Engineer\\n\\nAbout the Role:\\nWe are looking for motivated and skilled Fire Alarm Service and Small Works Engineers to join one of our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of systems and projects across West London and the surrounding areas.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Conduct regular maintenance on fire alarms, emergency lighting, and AOV (Automatic Opening Vent) systems to ensure they remain compliant and fully operational.\\n\\n * Fault Diagnosis and Repairs: Troubleshoot system issues and perform efficient, high-quality repairs to minimise downtime for clients.\\n\\n * Small Works and Installations: Carry out minor installations, upgrades, and modifications to fire alarm and emergency lighting systems, ensuring all work adheres to relevant safety and compliance standards.\\n\\n * Client Interaction: Build strong, professional relationships with clients, offering expert advice and recommendations to improve their systems and safety.\\n\\n * Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken, including system inspections, repairs, and installations, using company-provided tools and software.\\n\\n * On-Call Support: Participate in the on-call rota, responding promptly to emergency callouts as required.\\n\\nWhat We Offer:\\n\\n * Competitive Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience).\\n\\n * Company Van: Fully equipped and available for personal use.\\n\\n * Mobile Phone: Provided and available for personal use.\\n\\n * Generous Holiday Allowance: 20 days holiday, plus a Christmas shutdown period.\\n\\n * Commission Scheme: Earn 10% commission on recommendations.\\n\\n * Paid Morning Travel: One hour of paid travel time each morning.\\n\\n * On-Call Rates: £140 per on-call shift.\\n\\n * Additional Work Rates: £90+VAT for the first hour on-site, plus £30+VAT for each subsequent hour.\\n\\nJob Type: Permanent\\n\\nPay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year\\n\\nBenefits:\\n\\n * Company car\\n\\n * Company pension\\n\\n * Free or subsidised travel\\n\\n * Free parking\\n\\n * On-site parking\\n\\n * Work from home\\n\\nSchedule:\\n\\n * Monday to Friday\\n\\nExperience:\\n\\n * Fire Alarm Service and Small Works Engineering: 3 years (required)
