Job Description
For over 20 years, 1Call has provided reactive and planned maintenance to domestic, commercial and industrial clients – everything from home joinery work, to plumbing bathrooms, to refurbishing retail outlets and keeping pubs open for business, all delivered by our expansive team of expert tradespeople.
Roofer/Slater
We are looking for an experienced Roofer/Slater to join our team at 1 Call. This role involves carrying out both scheduled maintenance and emergency roofing work across domestic and commercial properties, including shops, pubs, and offices.
You will also be responsible for documenting completed jobs through our digital app, ensuring clear communication with both our help desk and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct roofing and slating work, including repairs, maintenance, and installations.
- Work across both domestic and commercial properties.
- Ensure all jobs are recorded accurately using our digital system.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures.
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects efficiently.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A full, clean UK driving licence (essential).
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in roofing/slating.
- Certification or formal training in roofing techniques (preferred).
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Multi-trade experience (advantageous).
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Job Details:
- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Salary: Dependent on experience
