The Yachtsman is situated in Hamworthy, a busy and popular suburb of Poole. The area is popular for tourism based around the beach and park and is home to Rockley Holiday Park a huge holiday destination from March through November. In addition to Military links the area is home to Poole cross channel ferries and has a vibrant yachting scene. The area is connected by rail with direct links to London and easily accessible by car.
