JobDescription
YouwilljointheFraudReportingGateway(FRG)whichispartoftheIntelligenceServiceswithinRISIntelligence.Thisteamreceives,assesses,anddisseminatesintelligencederivedfromHumanIntelligence(HumInt)sources,includingtheHMRCFraudHotline.
Withlinemanagementresponsibilitiesforateamyouwilllead,empower,andsupportteammemberswhilstcreatinganinclusiveenvironmentforthemtowork.
YouwillensureteammembershavethecapabilitytocontinuallydeliveraqualityservicewithinourgivenServiceLevelAgreements.Thiswillinvolvehavingoversightforreceiving,assessing,andthetimelydisseminationofintelligencefromHumIntsaboutpossiblecriminaloffences,regulatorybreaches,ornon-compliancebyathirdparty.
AnotherkeyaspectofyourrolewillbeleadingandhandlingthedevelopmentofqualityintelligenceproductsinlinewithHMRCstrategies,policesandcustomerrequirements.
HMRCsFraudHotline,isopenedfrom9:00amto5:00pm,MondaytoFriday,andattractsawiderangeofcallers/customers.Notwocallsarethesame,notwodaysarethesame.AcriticalaspectofyourrolewillbetoprovidesupervisiontothewiderteamastheyengagewithmembersofthepublicviatheFraudHotline.Thiswillrequireassimilatinginformationquickly,makingsounddecisionsandprovidingtimelyintervention.Regularofficeattendancewillberequiredbetween9:00amand5:00pmonyourdutydays.

SuccessfulcandidateswillneedtoholdNationalSecurityVetting(NSV)atSecurityCheck(SC)clearancetotakeuptheirpostinthissensitiverole.ApplicationsforSCclearancerequireaminimumoffiveconsecutiveyearsofresidencyintheUKpriortomakingtheapplication.
